See Jenny at Prose Pros

Prose Pros, hosted by Elinor Nauen & Martha King
7th season

Please come for this hour of funny readings with Jenny Allen & Nancy Giles.

There are hundreds of poetry readings in New York City every month, but just one series—Prose Pros—dedicated solely to prose. Prose Pros has hosted Ray Halliday and his full-body interpreter, Peter Schjeldahl’s art criticism with an East Village twist, Diane Simmons’ Alaskan runaways, Phillip Lopate and Burt Kimmelman’s exquisite Brooklyn memories  Mike DeCapite’s short fiction & more.

WHEN: Thursday, February 6, 6:30pm

WHERE: The back room of the East Village’s SideWalk Café, 94 Avenue A at 6th Street All readings are on Thursdays at 6:30 (sharp), usually the first Thursday of the month. One drink minimum (or purchase a munchie). No cover charge but we do ask for a generous contribution, all of which goes to the readers.
